Pay: £30,000.00-£50,000.00 per year

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Designer to join our specialist, employee-owned company. As part of an Employee-Owned Trust (EOT), every team member has a genuine stake in our success. We are a close-knit, collaborative team, and we value both technical excellence and strong teamwork.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in computer-aided design (CAD) and will be responsible for producing accurate drawings and models for a wide range of construction projects. This role requires proficiency in multiple CAD platforms, close collaboration with engineers and architects, and a strong eye for detail to ensure compliance with project standards.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Produce high-quality CAD drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Work closely with engineers and architects.
  • Create 3D models and visualisations.
  • Review and check drawings for compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
  • Ensure works are completed to a design program and delivered on time.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD (essential), Revit (advantageous), and SolidWorks (not essential).
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and technical drawings.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address design challenges.
  • Good communication and coordination abilities with colleagues and stakeholders.
